Maturity: Early season variety (55 - 70 days)
An early maturing variety, oval, smooth buff skin, cream flesh, tubers that size as early as Carlton.
It has good cooking quality and good yielding ability. An excellent alternative to Kennebec, does not 'green' as easily.
AC Ptarmigan is an exclusively licensed variety of the Saskatchewan Seed Potato Growers Association (SSPGA). One of Saskatchewan's own potatoes.
